Portage Diversion

The Portage Diversion was completed in 1970 and cost 20.5 M$. The Diversion is 18 miles long with four gates. The control dam is 35 feet high, 1,400 feet long, has 2 gates and allows 14,600 acre-foot storage (14,600 acres of land under one foot of water).

Shellmouth Reservoir

The Shellmouth Reservoir was completed in 1972 at a cost of 10.8M$. The dam is 70 feet high and 4,200 feet long. The reservoir itself is 35 miles in length and has a 390,000 acre-foot storage capacity.
